• The ELC is so very proud to introduce the Butterfly Boutique as the newest part of our vocational education programming.  The Butterfly Boutique is the home for all current and future student-run microbusinesses that are part of the ELC Vocational Center.  Students from Stevenson High School and the D125 Transition Program gain incredibly valuable work training and independence while working to produce, package and deliver the products sold within our microbusinesses.  The Butterfly Boutique also stands as a model for our families and community partners who are continually working to adapt, accommodate and support our young adults as they move from entitlement of services at school to full-time eligibility within the confines of adult living. Developing and running a microbusiness at home is a very common way for our students and their families to build a sustainable and rewarding vocational future. Currently, our microbusinesses include handmade candles, spiritwear resale, snack cart, and handmade note card packs.
