ELC West- Internships

For ELC West, we are rebranding our job experiences as "internships".  One of our new paraprofessionals will serve as internship supervisor for our students during their work in the community.  The tasks needed at each of our internship sites in the community are being cataloged, and this paraprofessional is working with transition case managers to include those tasks within the vocational skill instruction at West.  Our hope is that through this focused model of in-house practice and community-based application, we will be able to prepare more of our students for supported employment within the community.
