February Parent Educator Workshop

ELC Welcomes Clancy and Associates for a presentation on Guardianship and Letter of Intent Workshop as part of the Parent Educator Workshop Series.

Planning for your child’s future can be overwhelming. During this session, participants can expect to learn the difference between guardianship and other types of decision-making tools (including powers of attorney and supported decision-making). Participants will understand the guardianship process and requirements. Attendees will also understand how the Letter of Intent supplements the special needs trust as a planning tool for your child’s future.

During this workshop, Participants will:

• Learn the differences between guardianship and other decision-making tools, including powers of attorney and supported decision making
• Gain an understanding of the guardianship process and its requirements
• Explore how the Letter of Intent complements a special needs trust as a valuable planning tool for your child's future
