  • Misha Goel Receives Infinitec Award

Our greatest honor and pleasure is to celebrate our students’ achievements and brag about their successes. Last Thursday, we celebrated Misha Goel, a junior at Stevenson High School, as she received the 2022 Outstanding Student Technology Award presented by the Infinitec North Assistive Technology Coalition. Misha exemplifies true dedication and excitement to use her augmentative and alternative communication device to interact with peers and staff at school. Misha progressed from using a 25-word per page vocabulary set to 108 words per page and uses it in all settings. We appreciate the hard work of Shannon Mauro and Danielle Izzo, who made this achievement possible. In addition, Misha is proud of her sense of humor and loves telling jokes using her device. She took an opportunity to joke with the award ceremony host during her award recognition speech.
